After the exhausting, beautiful days that were had during the
Delight Retreat, some of the sweetest girls and I drove over to Seattle (sweet, selfless Madison gave up her day to drive us!) to enjoy one more day together. These girls... oh man, I could not have asked for better travel buddies! We talked about everything and never once was there a silent moment. We laughed and prayed and just had such an amazing time together! Not going to lie... there were a couple hiccups during our adventure. Things like not being able to find the silly rental car place, credit cards not working, a $44 parking ticket, and keys that wouldn't come out of the ignition.... which all took place over the course of only five hours. ;)
Yet even in the midst of crazy, unexpected dilemmas, there was only joy & peace. My time with Emily, Ashlynne, and Alora was probably one of the most blessed, encouraging times of my life. There is nothing like being real and deep with women who are wildly in love with the Lord. So many laughs and forever cherished moments were had with these girls. We unashamedly took pictures in the middle of Pike's Place Market, learned that a bunch of girls under the age of twenty probably shouldn't blab about where they are spending their evening, ate some stellar pizza & incredible coffee, and had the time of our lives! I could never fully express my thankfulness for this time we shared together. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to capture our time together - it was kind of the best!
